My Soul My Doctor – Part 1: Individual Choices for Healing

This is a three-part article which establishes correlations among the individual human, its soul, and its soul group relative to healing processes:

  • Part 1: Individual Choices for Healing (this post);
  • Part 2: Influence of the Soul on Healing Processes; and
  • Part 3: Influence of Soul Groups on Healing Processes.

The Spiritual MD

I am dedicating this series of articles (posts) to my exceptional Orlando-area medical practitioners: Nafeesa Mahmood (MD), Heather Godfrey (SLP), John Meisenheimer (MD) and Manuel Faria (DC), along with other gifted medical practitioners. I refer to them as ‘gifted’ because:

  1. they have struggled and attained advanced skills through extensive training and experience;
  2. they are very open to Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM); and
  3. they don’t just talk about the value of folding mind, body and spirit into the therapeutic process; over time, their skills have evolved to an advanced level through their belief in a medical partnership with the mind and spirit as being the most effective path to healing.

Why are Healing Processes Selective?

It is sometimes useful to divide healing processes for any given illness roughly into thirds, as it applies to the whole of the population (all patients of all ages):  one-third of patients achieve a full recovery after a single visit to a doctor or therapist; one-third require multiple treatments; and one-third do not recover, continuing with the injury or dis-ease (spelled this way intentionally) in some form for the remainder of life and possibly contributing to other challenges or even a shortened life. This has little to do with the skill of an experienced physician; yet it has everything to do with the will of the patient and the intentions of the patient’s soul.

This also applies to most hypnosis and soul therapy procedures. Consider for example a large group hypnosis session:  one-third of the participants quit smoking immediately; one-third are able to quit smoking after several individual sessions; and one-third will not succeed in quitting. Again, this has little to do with the skill of an experienced therapist; yet it has everything to do with the will of the client and the intentions of the client’s soul. Read More…

Injury, Illness and Health are Life Plan Essentials

From an abbreviated perspective, most souls enter the physical world as an experiential learning process:  to experience that which they cannot experience in the pervasive loving purity of the Soul-Side; to gain a greater understanding of such experiences and their energetic emotional impacts; to demonstrate learning through changes in actions; and finally to gain wisdom from similar collective experiences.

One cannot completely understand darkness if there is only light and beauty; one cannot completely understand fear, anger, prejudice or war if there is only unconditional love; and one cannot completely understand injury, dis-ease or death if there is only eternal health. Looked at from another perspective, can a soul truly appreciate the light, love and eternal health without a comparative experience?

A soul does not simply decide to come into the physical world without approval and guidance. If selected for a physical life journey, the soul works with other experienced souls to develop a life plan that will provide a clear meaning (objective) and purpose to the physical life experience. If a soul is working on experiencing and understanding the effects of an enduring injury or dis-ease, including a short-lived terminal illness, then we can be certain that the soul will be directly involved in the outcome of any medical procedure. Soul Groups and Health Choices

It should be recognized that individual souls do not come into the world alone; they tend to work with soul groups (which will be discussed further in a separate article). Collectively, the soul group works on a generic experiential area, such as war or cancer, and part of the life plan of the individual souls is to contribute toward the overall group experience. For example, one soul may choose to die in war; others may experience that loss and the associated grief through a familial relationship or friendship with the soldier who died in battle; others may read about battle casualties or deaths in the paper or hear it on the news and react significantly. Each reaction contributes to the collective group experience and understanding about war.

Similarly, a soul group may be working on understanding cancer. One soul may die quickly from a late detection of cancer; one of the daughters may subsequently contract cancer and fight the terminal illness for years before passing over; other siblings may live their lives in fear of contracting cancer as their sister and mother did; yet another may contract cancer and experience remission, only to live in fear and face the cancer again later in life. Collectively, the soul group learns about many aspects of cancer through direct experience and from individual reactions:  surprise, death, fear, stress, grief, anguish, remission, changes in lifestyle or diet or exercise to avoid a similar cancer, struggle to survive, giving up when death is at the door, and an infinite number of questions as to “why me” or “why us” and “how could God be so unmerciful?” Read More…
